A pierced copper-alloy Roman nummus of Constantine I (AD 306-337), dating to the period AD 326 (Reece period 16). PROVIDEN-TIAE AVGG reverse type depicting a campgate with two turrets, a star above. Mint of Rome. As RIC VII, p. 330, no. 287. The coin has a circular perforation to one side of the flan.
