A copper alloy Roman nummus coin of Constantine I (AD 307 – 337). Probably PROVIDENTIAE AVGG camp gate type, minted in Trier (AD 325 – 326). Mintmark: PTRu. Similar to RIC Vol. 7, number 461, but the camp gate appears to have more than two turrets. The coin has a diameter of 19.6mm and is 2.3mm thick. It weighs 2.9g. This coin was bought but is believed to come from Lincoln.
