A complete and worn Roman copper-alloy nummus of Constantine I (AD 306-337) dating to AD 320 (Reece period 16). VICTORIAE LAETAE PRINC PERP reverse type depicting two Victories standing holding shield. London mint Mintmark: Wreath//PLN Obverse: [ ... ]NTINVS[ ... ]; Helmeted bust right Reverse: [VICTORIAE LAETAE PRINC PERP]; Two Victories standing holding shield RIC VII, p. 108, cf. 166ff. The coin still shows signs of its original silver wash which normally only survives on coins from hoards. Diameter: 18.0mm. Weight: 2.71g. DA=12:6.
