A copper-alloy Roman nummus of Constantine I (AD 306-337), probably dating to the period AD 318 (Reece period 16). VICTORIAE LAETAE PRINC PERP reverse type depicting two Victories holding a shield inscribed VOT/PR, an altar below. Mint of Siscia. Cf. RIC VII p. 431, no. 47. Obverse legend reads IMP CONSTANTINVS PF AVG. Obverse shows laureate, helmeted, and cuirassed bust right. Die axis is 6 o'clock. Weight is 2.69g, diameter is 18.3mm, thickness is 2.1mm.
