A Roman copper alloy Radiate of Carausius, dating to AD 286-293 (Reece Period 14). FORTVNA AVG reverse type, depicting Half-length bust of Fortuna right, holding olive-branch and wreath(?), all within olive wreath. The obverse legend appears to be IMP CARAVSIVS P F A, although there could be a V at the end; there is another specimen with the obverse legend ending in AV (BM Cast Collection). Unattributed mint. RIC V, pt 2, Carausius 792var. This coin is included in Sam Moorhead's corpus for RIC.
