A copper alloy Roman coin: a radiate of Allectus dating from AD293 - 296 (Reece period 14), PAX AVG reverse type, depicting Pax standing left, holding olive-branch in the right hand and a vertical sceptre in the left. C Mint, S P//C. RIC V, pt 2, p. 566, no. 86. There is a large chip from the edge of the flan between nine o'clock and eleven o'clock on the obverse. The coin is 21.1mm in diameter and 1.8mm thick.
