Measurements are; diameter 21.8mm, thickness 2.2mm and weight 3.89g.

The coin has a thin oval shape possibly due to wear. It has a light green and brown patina with one area of orange suggesting iron corrosion.

A worn and incomplete copper alloy Roman coin, a contemporary copy of a radiate (barbarous radiate) probably copying a coin of Victorinus or Tetricus I, but dating from AD 275 - 285 (Reece Period 14). Probably PAX AVG reverse type depicting Pax left holding branch and vertical sceptre. This is a reverse type proper to Tetricus I, but contemporary copies can combine obverse and reverses of different emperors. Compare Normanby number 1999. It is 11.6mm in diameter, 1.6mm in thickness and weighs 1.0g.
