Robertson 2000, 183-184 no. 760: ""A third hoard of Roman coins was unearthed on 19 April 1950 as work continued on the District Council's housing site at Darfield. Whilst digging a trench for a gas main in Clarney Avenue a workman uncovered, at a spot 86 yards distant from the Clarney Place hoard [no. 394], this third hoard, lying amongst the broken fragments of the pot in which they had been deposited."
