A copper alloy Post Medieval finger ring hammered out of a coin of George V, (AD 1910-1938). The hoop is sub-circular in plan with a flattened bezel and sloping shoulders. It is rectangular in cross-section. On the inner face of the hoop is an inscription which reads GEORGIVS V DEI GRA BRITT OMN REX FID DEF IND IMP. The object has a smooth mid-green patina and hammer marks are visible on the edges. A fragment of a cast copper alloy Roman possible Hod Hill or Trumpet brooch dating from AD 43 - 175. The head, spring, pin, catch plate, and foot are missing. The remains of the brooch comprise a triangular shaped bow in plan which is curved forming a 'D' shape in profile. On the reverse face there are the remains of an incomplete catch plate which is broadly triangular in profile. The decoration on the bow consists of a horizontal raised moulding on the upper part of the bow near to the broken edge. Two abraded medieval to post-medieval copper alloy rings of irregular cross-section, possibly used in the suspension of drapes (Egan 1998, 62-4), mid 14th - 16th century: - distorted, external diameter 27.8mm, internal diameter 21mm, thickness 1.6mm. - external diameter 22mm, internal diameter 16mm, thickness 1.4mm. A small spiked internal projection is a casting flaw and a larger straight-sided external one is evidence for manufacture in a multiple mould.
