Medieval strap fitting loop (mid 12th to late 14th centuries): The copper alloy loop is trapezoidal in plan, although it is slightly distorted, with the narrowest edge forming the lower edge. The upper edge, along the upper face is decorated with an angular, but flat, central knop. A knife handle from a late medieval to post medieval scale tang knife, 70.4mm in length, complete with both side plates which are made of carved bone and are held to the tang by a pair of iron pins. Medieval (c. 1270-1450) folding strap clasp element: The copper alloy folding clasp plate is a 'keyhole' shape with a separate rectangular bar across the linear terminal. The plate has a copper alloy rivet which protrude on the reverse and through the bar. At the oppisite terminal there is a small rivet hole. The surface of the mount has a dark green patina. The mount measures 16.18mm, 10.56mm wide, 4.08mm thick and weighs 1.04g. Egan and Pritchard (2002) illustrate a similar example in Figure 76 and date these clasps to the late 13th to mid-15th century.

A silver openwork brooch of uncertain date. Description: The brooch has a cruciform arrangement, the four arms each formed of a stem and bud framed by slender leaves extending from a central hollow circular setting. An incomplete copper alloy strap end of Late Early Medieval dating (1000 AD to 1100 AD). Around 50% of the strap end is present, consisting of the top half with the attachment rivets. The strap end was originally tongue shaped. The upper (attachment) end is recessed on the front for a missing separate plate. Two circular attachment rivets are present at the top of the strap end. A single-looped cast copper alloy buckle of early post medieval date, with a rectangular frame, a pointed copper alloy pin and a sheet metal plate. The surface retains traces of gilding. The frame is 19.4mm wide with curved edges and a small notched pin rest. The plate is curled around the bar with a small rear portion being retained by a single rivet at the front edge with a second rivet in the centre of the rear edge. The front of the plate has a moulded double line border around it. The pin has a moulded transverse ridge at the loop end. Circa 16th-17th century.

Various facets have been removed from the top edge. No design appears to be present on the top surface. The reverse surface is recessed in the centre.
