A complete lead alloy weight dating to the post medieval period (c.AD 1500-1800).
A circular lead weight. The weight is undecorated other than a score line across the inner face it has not been perforated There is an incised ring on the front of the weight, it also has a wide rim.
The weight is rounded.other than a flat section possibly when dropped. The weight appears to be complete. The lead is a dark whitish-grey colour.

A complete lead alloy weight dating to the post medieval period (c.AD 1500-1700).
The weight is bun-shaped with a flat base and rounded face. The face is deeply inscribed with VIII which attests to its weight as nearly 8oz. The object has a dark cream patina.

The weight almost corresponds with the mass of 8 oz under the ‘binary’ averdepois system that was standardised in 1588 (1992, 44).

A probably Post Medieval cast lead anthropomorphic weight in the form of a human face.
Sub-oval in plan and flattened hemispherical in form. The face is relief moulded with a raised brow, oval eyes and a protruding nose. The mouth is only partially visible due to probable post depositional damage to the chin. The reverse has similar scuff damage but is otherwise plain and flat. The surface displays a light buff / grey colour.

A bi-convex lead weight with evidence of iron at one terminal. Originally an iron rod would have passed through it and the uppermost would have housed a separate iron loop. Patinated.

A Post Medieval lead weight with an impression of a Georgian coin on one face, probably George III (AD 1760-1820). The obverse depicts a bust facing right. The legend is unclear. The reverse depicts a cross moline. The legend is unclear. The entire object is very worn. The patina is mid grey.
The object measures 23mm diameter, 4.3mm thickness and weighs 10.3 grams.

A cast lead alloy object with a round integrally cast suspension loop and an irregular sub cylindrical body with oval cross section and a pronounced rim or lip at the top. The flanking corners of the lower portion has two stumps of iron, probably from a large attachment loop. There are no marks.
Possibly a steelyard or trade weight of c. 3oz.

Post Medieval cast copper alloy trade weight, c.AD -.
This weight is circular in plan and sub-rectangular in section. The obverse is decorated with three incised lines running around the middle of the face, and a partially-stamped ewer design. The ewer is the London Founders Company mark. The weight is 1.3 g (>60 grains), which allowing for damage and corrosion may well equate to an averdepois dram, which weighed 1.77 grams.
