A cast lead weight probably of Roman date AD43 to AD410 to Medieval. A truncated cone object pierced through the centre. At the top of the cone it is concave around the opening of the pierced hole. The base is flat. It may have been a Roman or medieval  weight. Possibly suspended by a piece of wire passed through the pierced hole.  Lead weights had various uses as spindle whorls to fishing weights to trade weights. Diameter of base.15.46mm, height 8.61mm, weight 8.90g.

A cast lead medieval to post-medieval weight or possible gaming piece.The object is a truncated cone with convex sides and flat base. This piece has a concave  top with a central knop.  Around the circumference the edges have been turned in. Height 17.15 mm diam base 16.81mm diameter of top 13.90mm. Weight 38.60g. A similar item was found nearby (LIN-E73F67) - it is shorter in height with a slightly concave. Height 10.77mm, diam base 18.91 mm  diameter of top 15.69mm. Weight 27.93g.

A post-medieval copper-alloy trade weight probably dating c.AD 1588-1603. The weight is formed of a circular thick disc. No raised rim. On one side there are concentric circles and a crowned EL royal cypher for Elizabeth; at the centre is a small circular indentation. The reverse is undecorated. The use of the 'EL' cipher was first enacted in 1588 and presumably stopped being used after the death of Elizabeth I in 1603. See for parallel LVPL-39A865 and BH-248FF6. Diameter: 15.50 mm; Thickness: 2.37mm; Weight: 2.95g.

A 17th-century post-medieval copper-alloy trade weight dating to the period c. AD 1603-1688. The pan weight is formed of a thick disc. On the front, there is a raised circumferential rim with concentric incised circumferential rings on the plate. There are two stamped marks on the front: possibly a crowned letter 'I' (at 9 o'clock), for James I-II, and the dagger of St. Paul (at 3 'clock), for London, the place of its manufacture. Diameter: 21.80 mm; Thickness: 5.58 mm; Weight: 11.98g.

Lead Medieval to Post Medieval uniface hexagonal possible merchant's weight possibly dating to c.AD 1250-1650. The flan is thick (18.54 mm thick) and appears regular and complete. It is hexagonal in form with rounded points followed by concave curves. On one side there is a raised applied reverse 'R' or possibly a zoomorphic face if viewed from a different angle.
