A bi-convex lead weight with evidence of iron at one terminal. Originally an iron rod would have passed through it and the uppermost would have housed a separate iron loop. Patinated.

There is a central dimple or recess on the reverse showing the object was lathe-turned.There are three marks on the face, an ewer at 6 o'clock for the Founders Company and a crowned G at 11 o'clock, signifying George I-IV, an inverted fleur de lis (or possibly a sword), at 1 o'clock.
