A round lead object with flattened upper and lower faces and a convex perimiter, possibly a weight or gaming piece. One face has two intersecting incised lines forming a V shape, the other face has a short single incised line. The object is in fair condition, is 22mm long, 21mm wide, 11mm thick and weighs 34.22g.

Pierced lead disc of unknown date, probably used as a weight. The object is white, with a pitted surface and is formed into a slightly irregular disc of diameter 22mm, thickness 8mm and weighs 25.37g. The hole which pierces it is close to the edge of the disc and is 2.5mm in diameter.

The object consists of a lead sheet which has been rolled around something circular, probably a rope. These are thought to be hunting net weights and many date to the early medieval and medieval periods, The Flixborough report (Life and Economy at Early Medieval Flixborough, edited by Evans and Lovelock) illustrates a number of weights on page 249, figure 6.3 and are attributed to the period from the 7th to 11th centuries, but other examples are also cited ranging from the Iron Age to the 15th century, so the date of …

Lead object, possibly a weight, with a heart-shaped motif on one face. The object is sub-triangular in form and rectangular in cross-section with a flat, undecorated back. On the uppermost face is a raised heart-shaped motif, possibly enclosed by another, larger, version of the same.
The artefact shows no sign of means of attachment and seems complete, although a small dent is visible on the upper left hand corner. The edges are rounded and it appears well worn. The surface is an off-white colour with some rusty-brown spots in places.
