An incomplete and worn lead-alloy weight of uncertain date, possibly Roman c AD 50 -410. The weight is broadly acorn shaped with a circular cross section and a flat base.  The base is a white/grey colour, and the rest is a grey material. An iron bar projects from the top and bottom of the weight which would have formed a rounded suspension loop. The item is 20mm tall, 15.6mm in diameter and weighs 22.8g.

Undated lead alloy weight? 57mm long, 24mm wide and 16mm thick with a weight of 79.14grams. The object is oval in form and semi-circular in cross section. It is in the form of an elongated face with rounded upper and lower edges. The upper part is raised with linear grooves representing hair that stop abruptly. Below are wide brows with depressions for eyes, sitting either side of a large flattened nose. There is a crude straight mouth and a chin which appears to have a beard? with possible raised lines radiating outwards. The reverse is flat and has the remains of an iron suspension …
