The object does not closely conform to the averdepois system though its form may indicate a post-medieval date. Sets of such weights were made along with their containers in Nuremburg in the early post-medieval period. A copper alloy weight, probably of late Early Medieval date (10th/11th century). The weight is circular and has a flat base. It is 7mm thick and has a concave upper surface which in the centre is notably deeper. The perimeter is decorated with a band of recessed dots. A circular recessed band encloses this on the exterior, and two bands enclose this on the interior. A further row of dots are situated within this. In the middle is an recessed eight pointed star. The weight has a dark green patina and abraded base and upper edges.

A lead and copper-alloy object, probably a harness pendant or weight, probably modern in date (c.AD 1700-1900) It is shield-shaped and rectangular in cross-section with a suspension loop at the narrow apex. One side is a decorated copper-alloy sheet with a lead-alloy reverse with iron corrosion around the sides. The bottom has file marks, probably to adjust the weight at manufacture.
