The remains of an iron suspension loop are present in the top of the weight. It measures 34.0 mm in height and a maximum diameter of 18.8 mm. It weighs 35.9 g or 1.27 oz. It is a light to mid grey colour, with an uneven surface patina. Abrasion, caused by movement whilst within the plough soil, has resulted in a loss of some of the original surface detail.
