A complete lead or lead alloy line weight or net sinker of Medieval to Post Medieval dating (AD 1500 to AD 1800).
The weight is a oval shape with parallel lines on rear and a deep ridge on front. A sub circular hole is present at the top for suspension. This has an internal diameter of 7.0 mm. The loop has been bent out of shape, and is now at right angles to the body of the weight.
It measures 48.6 mm in length, 19.7 mm wide and 11.9 mm thick. It weighs 59 g.
The weight is a light to mid grey colour, with an even surface patina.

A complete lead-alloy object, probably a net sinker or fishing line weight, dating to c. AD 1500 - 1800
The weight has a teardrop shaped suspension hole at the top. This measures 5.4 mm wide by 10.1 mm long. The base is rhomboid or diamond shaped, with cross hatched decoration on each face. The weight terminated with a blunt point.
It measures 62.4 mm in length, 16.6 mm wide and 14.0 mm thick. It weighs 49.9 g (1.76 oz).
The weight is a mid to light grey to white colour, with an even surface patina.

A lead alloy weight. It is shaped like an elongated sphere. The neck is long and flat, sub regtanular in shape. In the centre, near the tip is a suspension hole. The base is flat in the centre and would therefore stand. Weights like these are seen in the Roman (for example SUSS-EA2CCC) and Medieval (NLM-5D1F37) periods. The weight of 192g does not accord with the Roman weight system, as 1 semis is equvilent to 164.5g. This item is circular in plan and sub-rectangular in section and a central perforation runs through the object. Both faces have deliberately scored lines in a grid across the whole face, possibly just for decoration.

A cast lead alloy weight of uncertain date, Roman-Post Medieval.
This is a sub-circular lead alloy weight with flat, undecorated faces. In the centre of the flat face are the remains of an iron rivet or attachment loop, set to project 90 degrees from the rest of the weight. The object is worn with a grey patina.

A probable Medieval-Post Medieval circular lead weight, c.AD 1300-1800.
The object is circular and domed on one face with chamfered edges and an iron stub set on the edge. The flat surface of the object is pitted; the domed surface is relatively smooth with multiple surface scratches and indentations. The iron attachment spur is rectangular in plan and section, and is heavily rusted and corroded.
The object has a powdery white patina with some red iron oxidisation on the domed face.

Medieval to post medieval probable lead weight. This is a damaged object that was a roughly circular disc 27.5mm in diameter, with a central perforation with a diameter of 8mm. The disc has a flat base, the upper surface is slightly rounded and the thickness decreases from one side to the other. There is a lip 18x6mm extending from the bottom of the disc. There is a break in the disc and a portion of the disc is missing. Weight 34.25g.
