Two conjoined iron objects, an axe and a dagger. The dagger has been slotted through the socket of the axe. The two pieces are corroded together, but it is not clear if they were joined during use, or only at the point of deposition. Though originally considered to be a single object, perhaps a battleaxe, this has now been discounted, as it would seem that battleaxes tend to have larger axe blades, and the tang does not seem substantial enough for such an object. A cast hollow eagle's head terminal with a rivet hole in the top of the head and an oval aperture at the neck. A similar, slightly more elaborate and gilded example has been recorded on the PAS database (SUR-8EF261). The terminal is possibly a dagger pommel and is possibly of military origin. It measures 25.2 mm in height and 27.6 mm from the back of the head to the beak. It is 16.64 mm wide. The rivet hole on the top is 3.5 mm in diameter and the aperture in the neck is 14.4 mm in diameter.

Probable component, possibly from weaponry. A cast copper alloy angular bar with two attachment holes and several rebates. Several faces are decorated with engraved patterns of zig-zag bands and hatching. What appears to be the main face along a narrow edge, is decorated with a blackletter inscription (of unknown meaning) with hatching between the letters. (The inscription probably reads E preue--:) The function of this object is uncertain, but it is well made and decorated suggesting it is from an item of some value and importance. A doorknob-shaped spear butt. The butt is hollow and most of the rounded terminal is missing together with part of the shaft. Just below the shaft there is a raised cordon on the knob. The shaft flares and its minimum diameter is 15.48mm.

An iron object, possibly a medieval spearhead, arrowhead or harpoon. The object is 365 mm in length. It is therefore very long and thin with a lozenge shaped section. The tang tapers to a point. The main shaft is swollen, but then tapers again towards the head of the object. The head is a long, thin and is a flat leaf shape- missing its point. The head does have a slight lozenge shaped section.

An iron pommel from a sword or dagger. The pommel is ovoid in shape. The two faces of the pommel are covered in rows of raised dots, divided by an undecorated band which runs from one side of the tang hole to the other. The tang hole itself is rectangular, surrounded by a circular collar. The surface of the pommel is very worn and pitted, and is mid orangey-brown in colour. The pommel dates to the medieval period.

Complete cast copper alloy medieval dagger quillon. The main body of the quillon is rectangular in plan and section. It has a short slot to one side that allowed for the tang, and a longer recessed slot on the opposite side, which allowed for the blade. Extending from either end of the central portion is an integral pyramidal terminal. These are positioned so that the pointed end is flattened and joins with the end of the central portion. Knife pommel 15th to early 16th century 32mm diameter, 21mm tall The top of the pommel is domed (8mm high) with a rectangular slot in the centre (8mm long, 5mm wide) where the tang would have passed through. There are for grooved lines (1mm deep with a V shaped base) radiating out from the slot. There is a group of small grooves chipped into adjacent angles. At the end of each of the angles the edges of the rim has been turned up order to form four petals, this results in the pommel having a square shape when viewed from the top.
