A fragment of a cast copper alloy vessel of medieval to post-medieval date (c.1200-1700).
Description: A broadly triangular fragment from the rim of a vessel, including 72.3mm of the rim edge. Curvature of rim suggests the complete vessel had a diameter of approximately 260mm. The rim is crescent shaped in cross-section and 4.66mm thick at its thickest. The angle between the rim and vessel body is approximately 45 degrees. An incomplete Roman Samian ware wine cup of Dragendorff form 33 and dating to the 1st-2nd century AD. The base and around 40% of the side and rim remains. The rim is 115mm in diameter, The sides flare from a break in angle at the base and have no decoration aside from a single incised band at the mid point. The base ring is 43.3mm in diameter with a recessed interior. The fabric is light pinkish-orange with a reddish-brown slip. The centre of the base on the internal surface has the maker's stamp GIAMILIVS (second image) in a rectangular cartouche.

Two fragments of rim sherd of West Somerset type pottery, dating to the 16th - 17th century.
Possibly from a bowl, the fabric has sandstone inlusions, a thumbed applied strip under the rim, and an internal glaze, with an external green glaze just about visible.
A nearby production site for Medieval and Post Medieval West Somerset ware exisited at Nether Stowey, and was operational between 1250 - 1700.

A lead-alloy spout fragment, possibly from a vessel, of Medieval to Post Medieval date (c. AD 1400-1800).
The fragment consists of a circular perforated collar. The spout extends outwards from the bottom of the collar and curves downwards at the tip. The spout has a convex exterior and concave interior. No decoration is present. The spout has a cream coloured surface patina.
It measures 17mm in length and width of 43.2mm. It has a thickness of 6.6mm and weighs 14.9 grams.

A fragment from a leg of a copper alloy cooking vessel, probably of Medieval or early Post-Medieval date, about AD 1100 - 1700. Only a triangular fragment of the leg survives. It is triangular in cross-section and was probably from a small vessel. The top is a patinated break. The leg does not closely match any of the examples in figure 4 of Butler, Green and Payne (2009) Finds Research Group Datasheet 41. There are traces of sooting on the surfaces. It is 15.7mm long, 18.8mm wide and 6.7mm thick. 5.2g.

The lower part of a leg from a copper alloy cooking vessel, probably of Medieval or early Post-Medieval date, about AD 1100 - 1700. The upper part of the surviving leg is sub-triangular in section with a rounded ridge running down the front. The base of the leg terminates in a large foot resembling the paw of an animal with three rounded toes.The base of the leg is flat and semi-circular with a concave back. The leg is broadly rectangular in plan and triangular in cross-section, narrowing slightly to a foot shape at the base. The foot has a rounded toe and there is a relief moulded line across the ankle. A large copper alloy pot leg of medieval or post medieval date. The object is heavily pitted on the upper half before terminating in an uneaven, sloping break. The object has an arrow shaped cross section with a concave back and the tip of the foot forming the point of the arrow. The front of the leg is formed of two sloping rectangular faces. There is possible evidence of decoration, with a trace line running across the two front faces of the leg around 20mm from the base. The lower end of the object is rounded and has a grooved line running around the base. The upper end is irregular point at which the leg would affix to the vessel body.
