A complete worked flint thumbnail scraper, dating to the Late Neolithic - early Bronze Age period c. 2500 BC - 1800 BC.  It is roughly circular, made of a secondary flake of brown flint, a small area of white cortex is visible. Along the curved edge is semi-abrupt retouch extends around approximately 75% of the way around. Length: 20.8 mm  Width:  22.6 mm  Thickness: 3.5 mm  Weight: 1.9 g

A flint scraper, probably a thumb nail scraper of the Beaker period, about 2400 BC - 2200 BC. It is formed on a tertiary flake of dark grey flint, partially patinated to a light grey on the ventral face. It is oval, longer than it is wide, and is invasively worked. All the edges have invasive, abrupt, scaled retouch leaving only the centre of the dorsal face as a concave previous removal scar. It is 30.1mm long, 22.8mm wide and 9.7mm thick. 7.6g.

The dorsal surface retains covering cortex with the exaction of short parallel flaking along the distal edge. There is semi-abrupt retouch to the distal edge. The ventral surface is slightly convex with three predominant negative scars. The lithic retains a large amount of cortex and is therefore a primary flake. A crudely flaked thumb nail scraper made on a tertiary flake of grey flint with a thick white patina. The scraper retains the remnant of a wide striking platform and low bulb of percussion at the proximal end. There is a remnant of flake removal scars on the dorsal face. There is large, abrupt, parallel retouch round the 75 % of curved outer edge, which has been struck from the ventral face. Two burnt later Neolithic or Early Bronze Age date (2500 - 1500 BC) thumbnail scrapers formed on mid grey flakes of tertiary flint. The flake are broad and squat - originally being oval in plan but they are now both D shaped; in cross section they are broadly sub-rectangular. The flint flakes are well preserved - evidence for retouch or secondary working can be seen along the curved external edges of both the flakes. A small thumb nail scraper. Made on a tertiary flake of Portland chert. The scraper is conical on the dorsal face and flat ventrally. There are numerous small flake removal scars circumferencial edges. All some surfaces are now covered in a thin blue-white speckled re-cortification. The chert is opaque and dark blue- grey with a mid-gloss patina and small areas of ferrous staining mainly to ridges. Date: Late Neolithic Early Bronze Age c 2700 BC to 1600 BC. Dimensions: 12.15mm x 21.43mm Weight: 4.98g.
