A fragment of an Anglo-Scandinavian cast copper strap-end (cf. Thomas Class E, Type 4) made from a single plate of cast copper alloy. The rear end has broken off. The body of the object is tongue-shaped and decorated with a complex double-stranded insular Borre style ‘vertebral ring-chain’ interlace motif. The reverse is undecorated.

A subrectangular copper alloy plate from a composite medieval strap end, 54.1mm in length. The front end tapers to a blunt point. The rear end has bifurcating projections, each drilled for and retaining a rivet. The front of the plate is decorated with intertwining arcs of rocker-arm zig-zag decoration. The reverse of the plate is undecorated and retains traces of the (now lost) spacer plate around the edge.

A complete cast copper alloy early medieval (Anglo Saxon) strap end (cf. Thomas Class A2h). The plate is narrow and oval, waisted to a flared rear end which is characteristically split but incomplete having  broken across the rivet holes on the edge. Copper alloy and textile strap end. A pair of plates or a single plate folded lengthways with an ogival outer end and a rivet hole of diameter 1.6mm at its inner end, which was probably engrailed. An incomplete early Medieval (Anglo Saxon) copper-alloy strap end of Thomas' Class A, Type 2. The plate is narrow and oval, expanding from the rear edge to a maximum width of 9mm before narrowing into a pointed zoomorphic terminal. The rear edge is split and incomplete having lost the facing side and the rear end, which has broken across a pair of rivet holes. The terminal has a well defined beast head, with concave sides to the snout and a well defined brow and long rounded ears behind.

An incomplete, copper alloy sheet and rivet fitting, likely part of a composite strap end or buckle plate, of Medieval date (c. AD 1300-1400). The object consists of two flat, sub-rectangular sheets that are broken towards the bottom edge. There are two V-shaped notches cut into the upper edge, creating a tri-lobed edge. There is a circular rivet hole in the centre with the rivet in situ. The object has a dark green patina and there is compacted soil between the sheets.
