Two complete lead shots of post medieval date, probably c.AD 1700-1800. Both of the shots are essentially spherical, with one end projected out to a conical point and the other to a small, cylindrical projection. This gives the shots a "tear drop"- like appearance Each has six sub rectangular indents running a circumferential band. Both have a cream coloured patina. The shot is sub-spherical, with a small flattened section possibly resulting from the inclusion of the shot in a multiple load. Pecked stone ball of a size apt to be fired by the smaller version of the Minion, which was one of the smaller guns mounted on wheeled carriages to support troops in the field.
