A silver service medal from World War 1, awarded to Pte. Nicholas Farnworth, 24391, which is inscribed on the rim of the medal. This silver medal was awarded to officers and men of the British and Imperial Forces who either entered a theatre of war (an area of active fighting) or served overseas (perhaps as a garrison soldier) between 5 August 1914 and 11 November 1918 inclusive. The ribbon would have had a central band of orange edged with white, black and blue lines and although many other medal ribbons symbolise something, it seems that the colour and pattern of the British War…

A Post Medieval milled copper alloy commemorative medal, c.AD 1750-1850. This medal has a single hole near the top, where it would have attached to a suspension loop/hoop. Unfortunately, both sides are too worn to identify who or what this medal was commemorating. The obverse has a seated male figure on the left, facing right towards a standing figure, who is facing left. There appears to be a plant on the right hand side. The reverse has seven lines of text, too worn to make out.
