A thin rectangular strip of copper alloy, with multiple copper alloy rivets or studs hammered through the strip in two roughly parallel rows. There are 15 studs altogether (one is now missing). The studs project above the copper strip on one side, but lay flush with it on the other, suggesting that the studs were used to hold and secure the strip in place. This object is crudely made and is hard to date although the quality and appearence of the metal suggests it is medieval or later in date. A function is also hard to assign - it may be a medieval pot-mend or it may be a belt stiffen…

The object has one end that is a round and hollow bowl like shape with irregular edges which is open and the opposite side connected to the shaft. This shaft is in turn connected to a cone shaped piece which is flatter than the bowl shaped end. The opposite end from the shaft is solid and flat, with a round section of darker metal in a dot in the middle, presumably where the object was originally attached to furniture or some other household object. There are also three solid…

Copper alloy sheet. Fitting fragment from an object of thin sheet metal, with a regular circular hole (of diameter 7.74mm) at its rounded end, torn at the other. Appears to be one half of two, forming an object comprising at least three elements (i.e. two halves and that object engaging the hole). An elongated teardrop-shaped concavo-convex moulding may be a deliberately formed feature, and might suggest this to have been decorated for a domestic setting. Suggested date: Post-Medieval to Modern, 1700-1900. Length: 63.02mm, Width: 19.22mm, Thickness (of sheet): 1.10mm. Weight: 11.42 gms.

A cast lead fleur-de-lis broken at the stem. Probably broken from a church monument or similar. As the fleur-de-lis is a common symbol and lead is difficult to date, an accurate date cannot be assigned to this object. A post-medieval or modern date is more likely.
