An incomplete gold finger ring, probably late medieval to early post-medieval in date, c.AD 1400-1600.
The finger-ring is in a poor condition: missing its central inset, the bezel has been damaged and the loop is slightly squashed, probably as the result of plough damage. A cast copper-alloy finger ring, Post Medieval to Modern in date.
The bezel of the ring is broadly rectangular in plan, with chamfered corners. These extend into decorated tri-foliate arms either side of the bezel, narrowing along their length to form the rings hoop, which is broken at its mid-point. The reverse of the bezel in undecorated. The ring has a mid-brown, smooth patina.

A fragment of cast copper-alloy Roman finger ring dating to AD 200-300.
Just under half of the finger ring survives with only the bezel and shoulders remaining and most of the the hoop is missing. The breaks of the hoop/shoulders are not recent. The bezel is oval in shape with a degraded lip around the edge to hold an enamel or an intaglio in place. The shoulders are slightly flared next to the bezel and then narrow along the remains of the hoop and end in abrupt breaks.

A cast copper alloy finger ring, which is gilded in places, and 19.85mm in diameter. The bezel comprises a slightly domed facet, 8.04mm wide, which has two faceted shoulders, approximately 1mm wide. The bezel has the remains of guilding.Either side of the shoulders of the bezel are moulded inserts, sub-ovoid in shape, one of which houses a dark shiny insert, possibly enamel. The other insert is missing.The hoop tapers to 1.61mm deep at the bottom, compared to 5.25mm at the bezel. Where the rings guilding has worn away, the ring has a dark brown patina.

A complete Post Medieval gold posie ring with internal inscription probably dating c.18th century.
The ring slightly crushed into an oval and has a plano-convex cross section. It has a plan external surface and is inscribed on the internal surface in italic script with occasional serifs reading 'Be constant you for I am true' followed by a makers mark I.G in shield with pellet below. There is a small nick on the outside edge.

An incomplete Roman copper alloy finger ring dating to the period circa 43-200 AD. The artefact consists of an oval setting and bezel, triangular shoulders and a thin portion of the hoop on both sides. The setting contains a raised III surrounded by a curving line. The setting would likely have contained enamel with a small amount of what appears to be green enamel still remaining.The bezel and shoulders have flat straight edges. An incomplete copper alloy Finger Ring of Roman date (AD 100-200). The object is composed of an ovate bezel and tapered shoulders, both of which terminate in transverse breaks resulting in the loss of the band. The inner surface is flat and undecorated. The bezel has a recessed ovate central portion with a curvilinear (triskele style) trefoil motif. No enamel is retained within the bezel.

Description: A fragment from a cast copper alloy Roman finger ring possibly of Hening Type XII/Guiraud type 2d dating to the first and second centuries AD 43-200.
The hoop of the finger ring is plano-convex in cross section, almost sub-rectangular with rounded shoulders which transition into a flat bezel. The hoop is truncated by two breaks and is slightly warped. The bezel is sub-oval in plan narrowing slightly towards the shoulders. In the oval region is a raised circular feature that is 7.3mm long 6.8mm wide and 1.4mm high. The narrow from 6.6mm to 3mm at their breaks.
