Fragment of a silver-gilt finger ring comprising an oval bezel, in which would have once been set a gemstone, and a small section of both shoulders. From the parts of the shoulders that are visible, the hoop appears to have had circular decoration and it is on these parts of the ring that traces of gilding can be seen. In the absence of any clear distinguishing features to suggest the ring has a dating to pre-1707, this ring is classed as not Treasure.

A Post Medieval gold finger ring - memento mori (1670-1740). The plain thin gold band is engraved on the exterior with a skull and inscribed inside in lower case: 'Remember to dye', with a maker's mark GB in a quatrefoil shield with a pellet above and below. This type of ring had a long life from around 1670 to the 1730s, but as the mark is not listed in the standard London goldsmiths' marks sources, it is not possible to confirm a pre-1708 date for this ring.
