Description: A metal finger ring, pale yellow in colour, of Post Medieval date. The ring is complete and is a shallow D shape is section. The hoop is 0.91mm thick and 3.73mm wide at the back flaring to 4.78mm wide at the shoulder. The bezel is rectangular and is no more than a widening of the hoop. It is 8mm wide and 9.5mm long. The bezel is decorated with a central incised star or asterisk. In each corner is a fan of three incised lines. The sides of the bezel are demarcated by a band of herringbone pattern incised lines. Finally, there is a fan of five incised lines on each shoulder…
