A complete post-Medieval cast copper alloy posy finger-ring (c. 1700-c. 1800). The hoop is circular in plan, 'D'-shaped in cross-section and plian on the outer face. A complete post-Medieval copper-alloy finger-ring (c. 1700-c. 1800). The ring is squashed and the soldered join is broken. It has a repetitive design of contiguous lozenge-shaped features forming triangular openwork apertures between these features and each edge of the hoop. Each feature has three small lozenge-shaped depressions containing three or four parallel ribs. The surface colour of the metal is brown and there are traces of gilding on the outer face. 20.0 x 6.4 x 5.5mm. Weight: 1.62g.

The hoop is 'D'-shaped in cross-section. The flat surface of the bezel is decorated with multiple grooves forming a lozenge. At the centre of the lozenge is a circular cut clear glass setting with radiating grooves around. This finger ring is corroded, particularly around the hoop, with traces of gilding.
