A Post Medieval silver finger Fede ring of 16th -17th century date. The bezel consists of two clasped hands with cuffs to either side. The rectangular sectioned band has insised zig zag decoration around the outside edge, for three quarters of the circumference; the back quarter is plain. There are no markings of the inside edge. Fede (Italian meaning 'faith') rings were a popular love token from the 12th century and remained so well into 19th century. The hands joined symbolised the love and faith between two people. A fragment of a Post Medieval copper alloy sheet finger ring probably dating to the 16th -17th century. The fragment has molded decoration of a zig zag traveling up the center flanked by parallel ridges. The fragment is 20.4mm long, 11.1mm wide, 1.3mm thick and weighs 1.65 grams.

A Post Medieval gold finger ring of 16th - 17th Century date. The finger ring has a 'D' shaped cross section and is undecorated on the outer surface. There is an inscription running around the inner surface which appears to read: V(I/T)RAQVE * FORTVNA * CONTENTVS. The probably inscription means Utraque fortuna contentus, content with either fortune. The ring is 21.9mm in diameter, 6.4mm wide, 2.1mm thick and weighs 12.77 grams. A copper-alloy finger ring of probable post-medieval date, likely to date from either the 17th or 18th centuries AD. The oval hoop has a D shaped cross section and is now bent out of shape. There is a square bezel (7mm wide) with an oval recess into which a white paste remains, probably once an enamel setting. The shoulders of the ring are decorated with three transverse groves on either side before narrowing toward the hoop which is 1.8mm thick. The ring is much abraded and has a green to brown patina. The ring is 18.9mm in diameter and weighs 1.14 grams.

A complete late Medieval or early Post-Medieval copper alloy signet ring. The ring has a oval bezel and a large circular hoop. The hoop , although cast, has been made to appear as though it was made with two twisted pieces of copper alloy. Due to the twisted effect the hoop is D-shaped in section, flat on the inner side of the hoop and rounded on the top although alternately thicker on the side of the twist. A complete gold-plated Post Medieval finger ring. The band is rectangular in cross-section and the outer surface is decorated with a repeating foliate design. The inner surface of the ring shows signs of wear, with areas of the inner copper alloy ring visible. The ring is narrow and has been bent slightly out of shape. A Post Medieval gold Finger Ring of probable c.1700-1800 date. The finger ring is formed of a gold band with a 'D' shaped cross section. The once circular band has been bent into an irregular shape probably post depositionally. The out side of the ring is undecorated. The inside is stamped with a makers mark ES and then is inscribed with the legend: " B I love and like my choice M". The ring is 25.9mm long (due to the bend), 3.6mm wide, 1.3mm thick and weighs 3.01 grams.
