Post Medieval (1500-1700AD) copper alloy finger ring. The ring is formed of a simple copper alloy band, with floral decoration mounded on the upper surface. There is a worn break through part of the band. It has an external diameter if 22.06mm, an internal diameter of 19.67mm and the band is 4.51mm wide, 1.27mm thick. It weighs 1.81 grams. The ring has a dull red-brown patina.

A copper-alloy finger ring of probable Post-Medieval date. It has a plain band that is D-shaped in section and expands towards the bezel. The bezel itself is rectangular in form with vertical grooves to either side at the shoulders. It is decorated on its front face with an incised motif, perhaps intended to be a six-pointed star or similar. The entire object has very worn surfaces with only traces of a dark green patina visible in places. Incomplete copper alloy finger ring. The incomplete hoop of the ring is split and now bent out of shape. It is semicircular in section with a uniform width. It is decorated with moulded grooves that give it the impression of being ‘pinched’ at regular intervals. The integral bezel of the ring is oval with gently outward sloping sides. Within the bezel are dark reddy brown and bright orange iron remains. The patina of the copper alloy is an even mid green. The bezel is 15.02mm long, 13.96mm wide and 5.24mm high. Incomplete copper alloy finger ring. This object represents approximately half of the original ring. The integral bezel is oval in plan and flat in section. It is 9.9mm long, 7.58mm wide and 1.64mm thick. To either side of the bezel is an integrally moulded raised line, with a groove to either side. Beyond these, the hoop of the ring extends and tapers. The hoop is semicircular in section and flattened. It is 3.82mm at the widest point, tapering to 2mm at the break edges. It is 1.2mm thick. A Medieval to Post Medieval copper alloy signet ring, dating 14th-16th century. The ring flares towards the bezel, which is sub rectangular in shape. There is an engraved border around the edge of the bezel with a crowned lombardic T on the bezel face. The metal has a mid-light grey patina. It would have been formed from a flat rectangular strip of copper alloy, which was bent into a circular shape and the ends soldered together. The decoration consists of a series of panels, formed by vertical engraved lines evenly spaced around the band.
