Layerd circular sheets of lead arranged in a way which suggest the bezel of a finger ring. The 'reverse' has a narrow strip of lead 5mm wide and 2mm thick, soldered onto it, curving slightly to suggest the frame for a ring. Probable post-medieval date, 18th century onwards.

Cast lead alloy posy style finger ring of probably post medieval or early modern date (1600 – 1750). The hoop of the finger ring is irregular in plan, although originally it would have been circular. This distortion is likely to have been caused by wear and movement in the ploughsoil. The outer face of the hoop has been decorated with a series of both cast and pierced designs. These are based on a series of floral and heart shaped patterns. The design consists of two conjoined hearts, the edges of which have been pierced to emphasis the pattern, these elements are situated at the cen…

Lead alloy finger ring with integral sub-square bezel containing a saltire cross. The terminals of the cross appear to be crossed, so that the saltire cross is formed of 4 smaller crosses joined. This is known as a cross crosslet in heraldry but is generally not presented as a saltire. This is presumably a seal ring. The ring has been crushed out of shape but not broken. There are traces of red on the bezel, which might be remains of sealing wax.
