A silver plated Roman coin; a contemporary copy of a denarius probably of Marcus Aurelius, 161-80AD. There are mistakes in the legends, such as a 'V' in place of the 'T' in Antoninvs(ANVONINVS) and some further confusion with "T"s generally. The imitated coin is probably Sear, vol. II, number 4947.
