A worn early 14th-century silver medieval penny of either Edward I or II, London mint (c. 1300 - c. 1310 AD; probably Class 10). The flan has not been trimmed to the external border on just over half of the coin. There has been a slight loss on the inner pelleted border below the 'E' and 'D' on the obverse face; the reverse cross can be seen on the obverse on this thin coin.

A slightly bent silver medieval short cross penny probably of either Richard I or John (probably Class 4: c. 1194 - c. 1205 AD). Although the coin has suffered very high wear in places it can be suggested that it was most likely struck at London by the moneyer Ricard.
