The coin has a diameter of 28.8mm and is 4.2mm thick. It weighs 14.7g. The coin is in fine condition, with many of the details clearly visible.

Mint of Rome. RIC IV, pt 2, pp. 145 and 147, cf. nos. 61 and 84. The original record notes a cornucopia and Providentia is the only common type with this attribute for Maximinus I.
