Roman coin; struck copper alloy coin with silver wash, contemporary copy of a denarius of Severus Alexander, dating to 222-235. The reverse image seems to be Spes walking left, holding a flower and lifting the hem of her skirt behind but the inscription does not match this image. Denarii with this image should have the legend ‘SPES REPVBLICA’ but this has a titular legend.
