Silver coin. Possibly a porcupine sceat of Series E, possibly a half unit (cf. E151). On the obverse detail of the 'quills', which entirely lack the pelleted ends where they spring from the curving 'body', is unusual. On the reverse, the standard motif lacks a range of additional features, and is again a shorthand version of the reverse of larger coins. Obverse description: Eight long quills arising from a crescent; two bars within its curve. Reverse description: Rectangular standard with central annulet and outer border of pellets.
