Incomplete silver Saxon series R sceat. A small segment of the coin is missing approximating to 10% of the flan. No exact parallel could be found to this example but closely related obverse and reverse types can be found in the Series R type sceattas. Obverse: Degenerate radiate bust with runic legend. Reverse: TOTII beaded standard. Chevron above, Chevron and pellet below and chevron with triple pellets to right of standard. Circa 710-765 AD.
