A worn denarius of Severus Alexander (AD 222-235). This coin contains a significant proportion of copper, indicating that it may be contemporary copy. It is possibly RIC Vol. IV (II), p. 73, no. 27 etc. It measures 18.1mm in diameter, 1.7mm thick and weighs 1.63g.
