Tincommios was joint ruler of the Atrebates kingdom, firstly with his father, Commios the Younger, and later with his younger brother, Eppilus. Tincommios chose to rule the southern sections of the kingdom, which proved to be a mistake as the town of Calleva (Silchester) under his brothers rule became recognised by the Romans as the main centre of Artebatum power. This is a very rare coin, with one example published in the British Numismatic Journal Coin Register 1998, no. 18, and another recorded on this database (BERK-A96943).

A tarnished silver unit of Verica of the Atrebates, dating to the period AD 10-40. Struck on a dished flan. ABC 1250, VA 533, BMC 1421-49. Several of the same issue have been recorded on this database, mostly in the CCI catalogue detailing a possible hoard found in the 1970's in the Waltham St Lawrence area of Berkshire. Another two examples have been recorded from around the Ropely area of Hampshire. The distribution suggests a Calleva mint.
