Silver penny probably of Edward IV either struck in Durham or Ireland. The coin is heavily worn and most of the details and all the inscription has been lost. Probably Class IV 1461-1465. The coin has been pierced in the upper left hand corner of the obverse (at 10 o'clock on the coin). This hole has been worn and is oval in shape. Thanks are extended to Laura Burnett for help identifying this very worn coin.
