A silver long-cross penny from the York Archiepiscopal mint but of uncertain type or ruler. The separation of EBOR/ACI on the reverse legend suggests a Class 9b penny, but the double saltire stops, pointed back E's and lombardic N's in the legend and possible bifoliate crown do not seem to fit with this class. It is therefore perhaps a coin of a later Edward, possibly Edward III Treaty or Post-Treaty coinage, or even the Heavy coinage of Edward IV. It might equally be a a continental imitation. This all suggests a date range in the later 14th to 15th centuries for the coin.

A silver short-cross cut farthing of Henry II. Obverse is very worn with elements of the chin visible and some worn lettering. On the reverse the lettering AC is visible which suggests that the coin may be of the moneyer ISAC, a moneyer of York in the early, type 1 coinage. This would suggest a date of 1180-89. 9.4 x 0.52mm; 0.29g.
