A very worn and corroded silver Roman denarius of uncertain 1st to 3rd century AD ruler. Reverse: Illegible legend, Uncertain female figure seated, head turned left and holding patera(?). The coin has suffered from extensive post-depositional damage and possible exposure to heat. This has resulted in the obverse being obliterated and with a concave centre. Corrosion products are visible on both faces.
