Probably a milled silver coin of the British Protectorate period in Egypt. It bears the name of the Sultan Hussein Kamil (in Arabic) who was Sultan of Egypt and Sudan from AD 1914 to 1917. The elaborate style of surviving inscription on the image of the obverse can be matched with the examples below. Only a very small part of the reverse inscription survives but what does can also be seen to be the same. I think the coin was originally a 20 piastres piece.
