A Roman dupondius or as, possibly of Faustina I, dating to the period AD 138-161 (Reece period 7). Reverse type is a female facing left, extended right arm possibly holding a patera, staff in left hand. S and C either side of the standing figure. The coin has sustained circumferential damage, and as a result there is no legend visible on either side. Mint of Rome.
