An incomplete Roman copper-alloy as of Antoninus Pius (AD 138-61), probably dating to c. AD 151-2 (Reece Period 7), probably [SALVS AVG COS III S C], Salus standing left, feeding snake at altar and holding vertical sceptre. Mint of Rome. RIC III, p. 138, cf. no. 900a. The coin is of a small diameter (20.5mm) and low weight (3.47g). This could be explained by it being incomplete, but also might suggest that the coin is a cast copy (Limestalsum). Inspection of the coin might help determine this.
