A worn copper alloy Roman dupondius of Vespasian (AD 69-79), dating to AD 71-78 (Reece period 4). FIDES PVBLICA S C reverse type, depicting Fides, draped, standing left, holding patera in right hand and cornucopiae in left. Mint of Lugdunum (Lyon). As RIC II (2nd ed.), no. 1163-1165, 1210, 1213. Measurements: 24.1mm in diameter, 2.6mm thick 6.85g in weight.
