Copper alloy coin of unknown date or denomination. It is 12.10mm in diameter, 3.54mm thick and weighs 1.48 grams. There is no apparent design on either surface. The coin has been coated in a black substance, making it difficult to determine a possible age.

A copper-alloy coin, token or other disc-shaped object. This artefact is now severely worn and corroded. No marks are visible on one surface. The other surface has a stamped design of five sets of three pellets, in recess, closely grouped together (trefoils). These are spaced equidistant from one another, approximately 2.25mm in from the edge. In the centre of the disc is a faint trace of a single stamped design. The central design seems to be similar to a four leaf-clover or the ends of a Cross Fourchée. No examples of a disc (coin or token) with these exact elements wwas found; how…

Under magnification it is clear that there are slight striations on both surfaces, which are just discernable by eye. It has not been possible to date this item. Die axis was not possible to identify, diameter 20.30mm, thickness 0.71mm.
