This is a very unusual coin that appears to be a forgery of a silver William and Mary possibly tin farthing. It is the right size for a tin farthing according to Spinks 345 but the portarait and reverse are all wrong. The double bust is facing left when it is always right and the reverse portrays a shield which is only portrayed on Guineas or half-gineas and sometimes the half-crown. Making this coin would not have been simple as it is well made and seems an awful lot of work to make an obvious forgery. All denominations appear to be double bust facing right.
