A silver Roman coin; a denarius of Hadrian (AD 117-138), dating from AD 125 - 128 (Reece Period 6), reverse depicting Victory standing facing, head right, right hand to head; holding long palm in left hand, COS III. Mint of Rome. See RIC Volume II, page 361, number 182d and compare HAMP-CBE446. The silver is laminating, especially on the obverse right field. The coin is 19.4mm diameter, 2.4mm thick and 2.51g.
